From doing this I decided that I would look further into Industrial Metal and use that genre as the one I use for my magazine. Researching two genres meant I had a choice in which I could do for my magazine. I picked Industrial metal because I like imagery the genre uses and subjects they sing about. It would be interesting to bring in the genres imagery into the pictures I take of the band, and to include the song lyrics subjects into the interview.
Some okay observations on genre here, HOWEVER, the big problem that you have here is that you have NOT told the reader of your blog WHAT you have gained from doing the research - They may not understand WHY you have done this.
ReplyDeleteAlways include a list of 4 or 5 things that you think that you have learned from doing such research. You could use a bullet point list and change the text colour to red so that the reader of your blog is clear about what you are learning and how your work is developing.
